Technical Event Solutions Ltd (TES) is a full-service provider of event production solutions, delivering high-end lighting, audio, audiovisual, staging, LED screen, and power distribution services across New Zealand. With offices in Auckland and Christchurch, we support a wide range of events—from corporate conferences and gala dinners to festivals, concerts, and large-scale productions.

The Opportunity
Work on a variety of exciting events with a professional and experienced team, using industry-leading equipment and systems. This is a flexible, project-based role with opportunities across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pack-in, setup, operation, and pack-out of event systems
- Work across AV, lighting, audio, LED screen, rigging, and staging disciplines
- Support the delivery of high-quality live events alongside TES project managers and technical leads
- Maintain and prep equipment to a high standard
- Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently during live environments
- Follow all health & safety procedures and best practices on site
- Collaborate with a wider technical team to ensure seamless event delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in event production, AV, lighting, audio, or rigging (all levels considered)
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Full driver’s licence preferred (Class 2 or 4 a bonus)
